I've been under a lot of stress lately and working long hours. It made me curious about how others define Work Life Balance for themselves. While I can find plenty of definitions online but Im more interested in hearing how my peers and colleagues here at Humana personally think about it.

@b3 somebody has GOT to band together and show proof that these mop alerts are not accurate. In the end, this is going to matter when it comes down to rifs and eoy and all of that. 25 % is way too high when hcat has alerts that go off for members who are prescribed for a 7 day antibiotic.

Work life balance: pretending your 9 to 5 and your 5 to 9 are two different people, while both keep emailing you at 11 pm.

Been thinking on this one and think I’ve got it figured out. See instructional step guide below.
Step 1: Become a millionaire (or billionaire).

Step 3: Work casually whenever you feel like it, whenever the mood strikes you.
Step 4: Don’t stress if company fails if you decide not to work very hard. After all, you are already a millionaire (or billionaire) so does not really matter.

I personally take all breaks, lunch and WB time, and it still doesn't help with the stress because of the constant changes, the drive for 95% on all metrics, the meetings, CBTs, checking all the boxes, ensuring I select specific actions in hcat and the care plan (which may sound small, but when juggling all of what is expected , we've all forgotten a specific action or logging a specific intervention in the drop-downs). I've had to take all of it though just to keep my stress a little lower. Also don't forget to say help and always here to help. Check for no mbr contact in X amount of days every AM. Look at the ER survey in an entirely different chat which is annoying and wastes time and call the mbr back to back for 2 days in a row if UTC the first time (don't you forget that call either lol). Log the outcome if reached in that chat file, complete the ER survey and chart it in the care plan. Then be sure to look at the compliance list for comp surveys and prioritize those cause now we must meet 95%. Also, look at the PDC MR open opportunities and be sure to call the he-l out of them people who will often close cause of being too sick and passing or at times, or due to being UTC cause I am sure they get tired of the excessive calls. Don't forget to ask for and chart BP in a very specific way every call. Check debut for other stars gaps and check the box otherwise they think you didn't do it and apparently it's monitored as well. There's sooooo much more but this is stressing me out talking about it honestly. Anyone else, please chime in.
There really isn’t a balance. The only difference is I save time driving to work. Other than that if I don’t sit at my desk all day and keep up I drown! I take a lunch break and that is it.
for me the only thing that matters is to be relaxed when i come home.
if it's stressful at work and i take home it makes things unbearable.
