Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

I am still in contact with some former colleagues who are now anxious and worried for a reason. I guess, like most people are. Nevertheless, the job market is dismal but it is still possible to find better jobs. Maybe it will take a little longer to find a job and the stress is even greater if you have a family that depends on your job. Some may have to learn new skills, relearn old ones, and that too is stressful, but once you start working in a healthier environment where your efforts are more valued and rewarded, you will realize that being out of Cisco is a huge relief.
