…that EM has a found a way to make receiving a raise demotivating? I was expecting something close to the 10% that executive’s received. Fool me once, fool me twice…I’m done with this messed up place.

I haven’t received 10% total in 6 years. Was ranked OS 5 of the 6 years.
I’m not young & popular, so here I sit waiting for retirement or death.
This morning my manager made me understand I should not communicate so much about my Outstanding pay rise because its kind of like bi-----g about the company

Me too ... this place sucks ... I have to try and recruit new team members because I am going to loose my good people because I know and they know that they are not competitively rewarded (and nothing I can do about it) .... and the same applies for my manager regarding me ... it is a spiral generating high turnover and mediocrity
To hear some of the characters who post here tell it, they’ve all received a 20% percent raise and have five offers on the table (all from tech companies of course) that are each for 300% more than Exxon pays them.
And yet…
They’re still showing up at Exxon’s hideous campus daily. Go figure.
