Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Chaos

Leadership acts like they can't be bothered and then if you point out any inconsistencies. It only matters if the right person points out something. They play favorites constantly.

HR isn’t an advocate for the employee. It’s a shield to the company. If you’re serious about mistreatment you will need to seek counsel and get their recommendation.

I reported this behavior to HR multiple times, and each time it was ignored. Save yourself the effort.

I’m happy to report from the front lines in an EA office I have consistent calls from customers who are done with the “ tell me in a few words how we can help you” AI. My phones been ringing off the hook from wingbacks that I didn’t even have to reach out to. Big blue better not dump all the EA offices too quick.

When is the tipping point between placing incompetent managers into roles for which they are not suited, over and over, and the collapse of the business?

And the business wonders why customer churn is high, happy employees = happy customers and the inverse is true too.
