@OP The C suite has been hinting at this for awhile but many don’t want to hear the message. Not surprised at this message as our teams were hearing the same when we needed to bring in replacements. Hiring was offshore only. Why do US employees still think they have a future career here? Get those years of service where you have a company will invest in you. It matters for most of the benefits.
