How long before offshoring and forced ratings finally break what’s left of morale? Every round of “efficiency” moves chips away at tr ust, replacing experience with cheaper labor and arbitrary rankings. At some point, it’s not just people leaving... it’s the company’s culture and expertise walking out the door too.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
@af they dont plan on many getting to merit or bonuses. Thats why they are pulling the bs they are right now down rating as many as they can. And i refuse to discuss performance with my team. I didnt give most of them the ratings they were changed too and im not having it on to try to explain the logic behind it. HR is going to fire anyone with not meets and met some will be treated same way.
What morale? There is none.
And as for our culture, we have entirely lost the essence, feeling, verve and noble virtues that traditional Bank of New York and Mellon had. Our culture is now one of fear and treachery. Name one thing that team Robin has done to improve working life and careers here? And please don’t even mention the damned s..t coffee.
@am with all due respect, he already knows. Evil toxic ghoul that he is. Karma awaits
Just collecting my check while I plan my exit. If I'm still here I'll be curious to see the landscape after the last wave ends in April. Working here is like planning a funeral.
Seems to me like morale is already in the sh----r. Wonder if anyone has the ba--s to actually tell this to our illustrious CEO? Step up people and let the emperor with no clothes know what is actually going on at BNY!
Just wait until they have the compensation conversations. How can you justify record revenue and 1% raises???
They will continue on this disastrous course, until the share price begins to seriously faulter. That metric is a lagging indicator and by then it will be too late to turn things around in any meaningful way. They'll then have to "merge" more likely put themselves up for sale or sell off subsidiaries such as Pershing. Going into this place every day makes my stomach hurt. All due respect, my morale officially tanked Q4 2024.
