US-based company Wells Fargo’s IT hiring declined 25.7% in December 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

Wells Fargo has thousands of mortgage employees they can rearrange. I know because I'm one of them. They put us in the Workshare program and basically pi-p us out to other departments. After leaving the call center 16 years ago, I was forced back in it last year.

I'm not sure this is really relevant. Most companies that end their 4th Quarter in December slow hiring that same quarter. Same goes for companies that end their 4th Quarter in June; June is slow hiring.

hiring in general at wf declined as they put a lot of postings on hold while they worked through budgeting and prioritized. it's starting to pick up again.
