just heard from some higher up that layoffs may happen next week..mostly on 17th and the last day will be 31st (end of FY) .. good luck everybody .. fingers crossed

dell asked for the first list and at the same time stated that there would probably be a second list too. I don't know if the 2nd list is as big as the 1st list
why they didn't say - all I know is second list is due early next week, then legal check, and probably see cuts after. my other guess is just because you were initially put on the list, doesn't may you can't come off
but if you have pip or coach plan or just a pia - I can pretty much guarantee your out in weeks

I have heard similar from a very credible source. Time frame I heard was late January to early February. Typical has been February in the past.
I’m not convinced this is the case… I’ve just received a grade change & pay rise (work in sales). They have recently promoted my colleague too!

200% that's a lie - the second list was only just generated this week and still needs legal - your just spreading fear

hard to say; but dell cuts $$ off divisions not # of people; and diff divisions gets diff numbers .. ie. high in ISG low in APEX and TELCOM
considering how big dell is, in larger orgs like ISG (thousands employed) it's probably in the hundreds.
2 weeks of layoffs? Lol. No. At least come up with something believable
