Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Notice period

I've been looking for a new job for a long time, but now all the effort of searching has finally paid off. Giving notice here, is there a better feeling? I feel incomparably better than when I got the job here. Now I just have to hold out for a few more days and this place will be a thing of the past.
When you gave your notice, did they overwhelm you with even more work, like they did me?

What are they going to do if you don't touch the "extra work"?? Fire you? LOL

I was let go in October. Could have used the holiday money but I’m moving next month, and the 2-3 month break while money crunching has been at times a way to explore other ventures.

I miss the store staff/employees. Wont miss HR or upper management BS and the customers who always took us for a ride.

I never slept better than when the place went on lockdown, but I did have SSA. But I was determined to keep that positive feeling going. So I did!

Not going back to this Sh-t show was the best thing for me.

I wish you all the best!

Nope. Everyone was happy for me for moving on. And they all understood. That was a year and a half ago. The most stressful 17 years of my life just disappeared like a fa-t in the wind.
