Indeed. There will be more cuts that bleeding will continue. Unfortunately, more FTE’s will be sacrificed .

The person in IT Risk in the NY/NJ area that keeps reposting the same question a million times in every post, chill out.

Any news if and when the IT Risk teams who came from Mufg UB who are still working 100 percent remote and support Archer incident items from New York and New Jersey offices will be laid off?

They haven't begun to cut. Just wait a couple months when the butchering really starts

Most likely will be big cuts in the Tech space (the UB team) because many were supporting projects or systems that are now irrelevant. Also support areas that are redundant (HR, etc.). Former head of UB Regional Bank and head of MUFG HR are exiting by end of Jan. The recent Mortgage layoffs are less about the USB acquisition of UB and more about exiting this type of lending in current economic environment in my opinion.

Some advice, keep your resume and LinkedIn profile, if you have one, up-to-date and be prepared to give the finger to USB going out the door. It's not worth the constant stress.
