Weird. Never heard that HIPAC donations caused forced donations at 100x to other political campaigns.

For the record, I left last year as a Band 4 to a much better job making way more. To be fair, never gave a dime to HIPAC while at HON. Guess that’s why I didn’t know $1 HIPAC donation would somehow actually cost $201 in forced donations to other campaigns. So weird I never even heard about it.

Madsen was giving about $560 a month. I do not think he was giving his share

If I gave $1 to HIPAC, then if have to give $100 to the NRA, which I already do, and $100 to Elizabeth Warren, which I won't. I just prefer to support the original civil rights organization.

The interesting thing about this is you can easily back calculate the base salary of these people. Assume highest contribution level for VP’s, GM’s, etc.

I give $0.01 or 12 cents a year. Keeps me from wasting time getting the pressure from some low level VP or Director.

I give them $1 on the theory the executive phone (usually a VP, sometimes the aero president) call I get personally asking me to raise it up to 1% of salary (are you kidding?) costs them at least 250x that $1 they get.
