The entire SDR team and managers were laid off today 1/18/2023. Terrible transparency from the higher ups. Told us to book for SKO a couple weeks back to firing us all today. Disappointed in FIS with how this was handled.

It could be that the decision to terminate the team was made at the last minute out of necessity (rather than managerial incompetence). FIS should make additional cuts en masse, similar to what Google, Microsoft, Meta, etc. have done. The c-suite needs to start conducting business as it ought to be conducted. Start by selling the new HQ building. Is it more than just for vanity? How many will be laid off to pay for it? What value does it add to the company? Simple questions that if asked will go unanswered.

I expect more layoffs the end of this coming week…The axe is in… and yes expect the St.Petersburg office to feel the brunt of the layoffs.
