You gotta do the job for a few years before getting the promotion loot and glory. Stay the course a d keep your career moving forward. Go citi!!!
For my colleagues and me, raise are very good this year. Bonus flat. No change for responsibility which I hope to get more
I’d like to amend to the last poster’s statement. Yes, look within and compare yourself to your colleagues. If you feel that you are being unjustly managed, then seek employment elsewhere outside of Citi. If you suffer this again, less money and more responsibility, next year, then its your fault for staying. While true, there is an upcoming recession which will make your job search a little hard but keep trying. When the recession is over with and other companies start hiring, that will be your window to leave.
Sounds like they want you to leave. Are you applying for jobs at other companies and not getting invited for an interview? Maybe you should look within....
Yep, be very careful of Citi employees they are blindly loyal and exploited. Will regurgitate how great it is like drones
Careful, you’ll get attacked by koolaid drinkers and manager wannabes.
Citi tries to strongly promote that they have competitive salaries but they don’t .
Once the recession fears subside and companies start hiring again, that’s your window, be ready.
