Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

What to expect for AVIP?

Now that layoffs are becoming more common in the technology sector, does anyone know what we can expect for AVIP? How confident is everyone about their job security? In GTO it feels like there is a ton of work to be done and not a lot of people to do it, but I’m sure they could find some room to cut people

RTO is a dead issue
The company like many more companies cannot go back to the old way.
If everyone sticks together then this would not be a discussion.

Listen to the employees sounding the alarm and get rid of the many useless AVP and above. SVP know who they are.

Expect quiet firings, low bonus, low raise, RTO, generally poor work conditions.

Cheaper and easier than actually firing people.
