It's my life in this company with a factory manager who says nothing...
He lets a few employees (including a union representative) do what they want... insult their colleagues... physical threats...use racist words against some colleagues..
I was threatened and reported it to HR who said..."come take a break"...it only happens once...
The situation is amazing...There is no values..no respect of policies in this company

Remember, you don’t need a degree. They always talk about ethics. They even fire people over it. How can a company fire something for being unethical. When this company is the most unethical company around.
You’re seeing what happens when you don’t have to go to school for anything. They hire a bunch of thugs. I’m surprised they don’t walk around with a baseball bats or whips. If you don’t work fast enough we can re-educate you. Also, this is how we make you work longer hours.
I was curious to find out who is even left in my group, discovered EVERY single person who had credibility is gone in just 2 years, only a few fakes and snakes left.
So simply that is game over for what was a big money earner.
Honeywell leadership are charlatans running off with the silver and by the time the legacy income runs out they will be long gone. I wonder who will buy the remains of Honeywell?
Honeysmell is worst company I ever worked for. Toxic, top to bottom.
Hey, people like to know. Run, run far away. How do you know this is true? See what % of employees don't last 2yrs. I never heard of so many people leaving a company so quickly, or even leaving engineering altogether. I'm out next week. Can't wait.
This behavior is systemic at HON Aero US and starts at the top with the ALT team. MM protects HP (Heath bar, tan man) from his s-xist and racist behaviors. Nothing has changed since their Anniston days together, expect geography. It's well know and they turn a blind eye. If it's tolerated at top then the factory floors will surely experience it too. Maybe when the leadership all turn over we'll see a change.
I can say that Phoenix Honeywell is unashamedly racist (espically if you are the "wrong" religion), and I had my own cases of people (including a director) threatening physical harm to me.
Some common passive aggressive techniques:
- Having a team catered lunch and make sure every dish had meat/pork in it.
- Leaving a lunch table if an HTS employee sits down
- Canceling a pre-approved vacation occuring over a non-Christian religious holiday the day before it was to begin.
- Pressuring other managers to hire people not qualified for the position especially if I was interviewing people that "don't fit in the Honeywell family"
So happy to have left.
I am an ex Honeywell director who worked in multiple global offices. It think it is more a US issue, in Europe & China the Honeywell offices and factory floors were in the most part very civilised and respectful (I actually enjoyed my time there). The worst I saw of the company was always in the US often being disorganised, unprofessional and in the office the politics were disgusting if not shocking.
Yea legacy CEO DC was there with a US President and Indian Leader a few years ago plotting the outsourcing of many task just salivating at the potential. Whispering if HON doesn't do it, you know EU and Asian companies will. HIPAC funded by the caste at HON US to grease the skids with the anti-trust ilk.
Now with as much turn over as HON has, do you really believe they can track all the lost functions operating over there?
Nuff said
I have never experienced racism like i have from my Indian manager and peers.
My manager schedules social and business meetings that are only for Indian team members. This "diversity hire" is done next week.
Honeywell as a company is probably the most diverse company I have ever worked. I don’t think you can hold entire company at fault for couple bad apples. To say this place is racist is far from reality. If you have issues just report to HR and I am sure they will do full investigation and take action.
Ah, give 'em a break. Just like the OP stated - "worst company I never worked for.."
Most insulting words they hear?
"We expect you to work..."
Those 4 letter words are horrible.
These posts never cite specifics, just vague reports of naughty words being used...
I remember when we used to say "stick and stones my break my bones, but words will never hurt me". Truly a simpler time...
