Unbelievably enough, EM employees who actually believe - without anybody producing the actual reports - that Exxon had - in the 70’s! - “knowledge of the unfolding climate crisis”. A bunch of mo_rons who have no clue how climate forward models are put together. What were the critical assumptions on which those models were based? What climate temperature data were used to validate the models? Why would Exxon spend money on climate studies? Do you know Exxon to be spending even a dime without expecting a profit? The yellow media will not tell and even today’s EM employees don’t ask, they just gobble whatever the media puts in front of them.

So what? EM had smart scientists. EM complied with all regulations to meet legal market demands for products.

For comparison, what if someone finds that General Motors had a study that installing roll cages in cars would eliminate car crash fatalities- would that make General Motors liable for all car crash fatalities for not installing roll cages?
