Yes, hiring the ones at the top of the pay chain. These are typically the ones that have been around the longest, thus the eldest. Age and gender ( they like young females are the ones they retain. Always been the case.
Most people just leave, don't want to fight. They fear the "David vs. Goliath" mentality, "mondelez is too big". So sad, not the case. The ones that stand up for themselves and seek representation usually "win", cause they want to settle to make these issues go away. Don't back down.
To the person that lived in the big county, and was let go, how long did you work here?
Are they letting the people that have been around 10+ years go and keeping new people. Is that what you guys are seeing?
I was the only rep that lived in the biggest county in my state and got let go. 2 reps now drive 30 miles to work to cover the county. Has nothing to do with geography. I have always had good reviews, always hit my objectives and had great relationships.
Amazing people aren't coming together to connect the dots, or are they? Age discrimination isn't hard to prove!
Wow you got all that info ?!!! I must be tone deaf!!!!!
What was your rating last yr?
They can’t give you a specific reason as to why you’re getting let go. Your rdr and hr contact will be reading from a script. They will tell you basic reasons like what your last review was, how your gross revenue is, the location from where you live and so on. But they will not go into details why you were specifically chosen to lose your job. I had 10 years as a rep and 15 years in the company and I was replaced with a rep that was only with mondelez for 3 years.
