@fla+1kQoG9Tq I learned today that yes, 3M is completely exiting some countries and distributors will sell 3M products to accounts. All employees will be eliminated in said countries. No marketing or sales people, no one.

This could be the right decision, however it is never easy to see people/coworkers/friends be eliminated

Probably the worst performer of the Dow 30 over MR's tenure, if I had to venture a guess.

last time there were news article on layoffs, it was 2900.
2500 is a "safe" figure to announce this time? we can hide behind alphabet and microsoft's shocking figures.

Why do they announce the # of manufacturing jobs eliminated but not the total number of salaried positions eliminated over the past few years?

Only part of the story , as the numbers from one year to next keep going and then manufacturing layoffs announced and balance unannounced, they keep the layoff numbers so foggy. And still no plan to recover from MR..

This will go over well. Can see why competent people in EO have retired/resigned/fled the sinking ship.

I've often wondered if someone who is terrible at their job knows they are terrible at their job. Mikey proves they do not.

“Macroeconomic challenges.” Roman needs a new excuse. It’s getting real old.
