Why do you think the new market direction is Hybrid cloud? Seeing a number of companies got sticker shock, are overbudget and are going back to premise for a large number of their applications.to manage cost.

Soon AI will be a Azure service and there will be no need to have as many MS people on the backend to keep the Azure cogs spinning. So that’s a good thing, right?

Actually Cloud is less expensive than On-prem. Less overhead to maintain, no need to refresh hw, train people, etc. Where in Azure are people being impacted?

Simple: Cloud cost is way high. Customers are moving back to premise to improve cost.
