Knowledge Experts Are Gone for Certain Systems

I wish I was exaggerating. What would have taken the old Fiserv expert 5 minutes to figure out, now is taking the First Data replacements an indefinite amount of time to start to figure out. I can't understand how this is acceptable at any level.

Cheaper, faster, better??? Well they got the cheaper portion right. Everything else is a disaster.

No surprise. I was part of a solid internal IT team some years back at a major insurance firm. We were good. But then we were outsourced with foreign replacements under the guise of support would then be " cheaper,faster,better." As if one word. Our replacements could not even figure out how to open up the computer shell. So doubtless at Frankserv it is still cheaper,faster,better. After all, you can ride the rocket to NJ.
