Looks like risk, except for CIB risk maybe, is the big loser.
merit 1% rounded down, bonus 13% rounded down and less. Bonus intended to remain flat despite promotions. Scores are to drive attrition and pay to keep in line with a dangling carrot. For those who envy bonus; it was hard work, pursuing higher education f/t while working here, massive debt, and determination that used to matter. Results no longer matter as it doesn't fit the agenda. If you are not experiencing same, then are you lucky or part of the problem?

Rec'd: Promotion / 10.5% Salary increase / 17.7% bonus based on old title
Marketing, 4.5% raise, 9.25% bonus. Somewhat surprised with bonus amount being low, it's only slightly higher than last year and I changed jobs with a 15k raise.
Risk 3.8% merit bonus 16% (target is 25%)
Mortgage, meets 3.2% Merit, bonuses paid monthly- used to average 30% of my annual salary, now is non-existent. Overall results: loss of 27% annual salary.
Processing Manager- Exceeds rating- 5.75% salary bump, 13% bonus, both slightly better than last year.
Mktg prod, Meets, 5% raise, bonus 17% of base.
Tech -5.1% increase, bonus- 11.5% of base, rating - meets
bonus % needs more context, such as level: s1-s5, p1-p5, m1-m5. p2/3 probably are around 10-15%, p4/5 20%+.
and for those who are like wtf are these keveles, s is service, p is professional, m is manager
risk, 2% merit, 40% bonus split 75/25. seems 50k-100k is 80/20, over 100k then 75/25, not sure where the next band is, probably 150 or 200
Meets, 3.8% in tech, bonus was 12% of base (ended up being slightly less than last year in lower role if just looking at numbers). Before they took away the bonus targets, current role was target of 20%. Super glad I busted my bu-t this year /s
Marketing family - exceeds 3% merit / 30% of base salary with 80/20 stock cash split
@dru+1kR16CGW Wow. Wells loves it’s risk departments so much it’s paying them bigger bonuses than the front office.
@1qni+1kR16CGW All I want is to get more out of you.
HR, 4.0% raise, bonus 20% of base. That's all you're getting out of me.
Risk (for CIB), 10% base raise, bonus was 70% of base (bonus was split 75% cash 25% rsr)
In tech, meets rating, 2.7% raise and 20% bonus
same exact dollar numbers for both merit and bonus as last year, so they had work the percentages to pull that off
been told bonus was funded at last years value + 3.8% (so multiply 2022 bonus by 103.8%)
Tech, 7% merit, 11% bonus that ended up $1400 larger than last year.
Inflation closed out 2022 with a 6.5% annual reading --> https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/12/heres-the-inflation-breakdown-for-december-2022-in-one-chart.html#:~:text=Inflation%20closed%20out%202022%20with,month%20increase%20since%20October%202021.
Bonus decreased $1,800 but that does fluctuate year to year. No raise period.
I will tell you my numbers, but first let me sip my coffee.
busted, crooked smile
45% of base? Are you getting a split between cash at your level?
(Genuinely curious)
Bonus slightly more than last year: about 45% of base. My salary raise isn't comparable due to promotion.
Not what I wanted to see.
CAO: 2% merit, bonus is 10% of salary, was meets overall
Technology. 2.9%. Bonus 9.8% base and 1K more than last year
Why not state more meaningful numbers? Bonus is 1k higher, so, post bonus as % of base so can compare apples to apples. You can still remain anon. Ex: 2.9% merit, bonus 6% of base and $1k higher than last year.
Technology. 2.9%. Same bonus as last year.
