All stores should be closed. There is no point to them. It will save money and cause no major loss in income since barely anybody still buys anything there. What's the point in keeping them open? Please, do let me know what is their use in this day and age? I will admit I'm wrong if you can give me one good argument in their favor that's actually good for the company.

there would be no need for stores if it wasn't for a the non tech savvy people out there. It sure isn't for the products because you can buy them cheaper online even with an employee discount

People standing around for 2 hours waiting to be helped in a cell phone shop have to be some of the least intelligent people on earth. My time is worth too much for that. Order phone on Amazon and pop in my Mint Mobile SIM and I'm good for like 3 years. What a joke Verizon is.
Tell that to the people that wait 2 hours in our queue every day to be helped. Not to mention all the people that are sent in by care for sh-t we can't do, or are fed up with all the BS they get on the phone from outsourced care reps that know nothing and make things worse!!
It should all go Indirect. No need at all for corporate locations anymore
We need more stores if anything. People are becoming more and more useless/helpless and want everything done for them. Instead pf selling product, VZ should sell tech support in store. ‘Want us to help you get back into your Facebook? $49.99 teach you how to add a contact? Pay for knowledge.
normally I would agree, but for the first time ever I went to the Verizon Wireless store in Bridgewater NJ and waited 1 1/2 hours (walked around the mall and shopped since they text you when you are next in queue) and there was a line of people in there. It was not productive and I could have went online and did the same thing, but fact is...people were there and waiting. Crazy.
Old boomers and cash only "undocumented" people need somewhere to transfer their data and pay their bills.
Just because it looks like a vz store doesn't mean it's not an authorized reseller. Vz has been selling off their stores for years. Generally, I think larger companies need physical representation in the community and companies are willing to take a loss on them for the write-offs.
You under estimate the amount of tech illiterate people that can’t follow simple directions. You will always need stores for Mo--ns unless you find a way to make your CS systems mo--n proof
For the record, I prefer to buy my products and sign up for service in-store.
Any wireless provider that doesn't have a retail presence doesn't get my business.
You don't think Verizon has all the analytics on this? If the numbers make sense, then they will make the business decision to reduce or close. Not every consumer is a gen z....
