I was also a Meets expectations. Received 2.09% increase, 2.4k bonus, and more work.

@ @6ghj+1kScGXmD: Your salary may be too high AS FAR AS Citi is concerned, whereas everywhere else its probably average or lower. Citi likes to preach wholeheartedly about how competitive their pay is. I’m sorry, I just don’t see that at all. Yes, I know they post a salary range on job postings now. That range is not what’s offered but more of a “you have the potential to eventually reach the upper range of that, with time”.

So a job salary range will be 70K-160K, hmmm…regardless of what’s your skills and experience is, I wonder what the offer will be.
“What?!?! For 10+ yrs experience you are offering me 70K, gee, didn’t see that coming.”
“What!?!? For 20 yrs experience you are offering me 80K, gee, didn’t see that coming”

For 30 years i got 1s and 2s and now after all these years i got only 3s and was laid off! I didn’t even question why i got such low #s and i was happy to b laid off

You will need to be 2 exceed expectation to get 4% merit raise.
