That’s exactly what they mean. Previous GTS and Watson Health employees who were not picked up by the new companies. Also note IBM is being measured against free cash flow which AK yesterday still committed to 35 billion over 3 years. Take what’s in the books 9.3 billion and 2023 goal of 10.5 billion = 19.8 That means in 2025 IBM has to make 15.5 billion to hold to the commitment. Does anyone think that kind of growth is possible? If not, then subtract 13k worth of employees per billion of savings (USA or Europe) to get to your number. I suspect IBM will come up short by approx 3 billion or approx 40k worth of head count. Can you say 20-25k americas, 7.5-10k Europe, and 5-7.5 k Asia. That’s what you are looking at

Watson Health and Kyndryl are no longer part of IBM so why would there be reference to them when talking about IBM layoffs? The people who said that's where the layoffs will be, do you mean employees who used to be parts of Watson Health or GTS who for whatever reason remained with IBM, instead of going to those companies?

Actually the tech parties are joining IBM!!!!!
IBM is constantly RA employees. In the middle of the pandemic when they got help from the US government they RA 10,000! Every month since then they are RA people. They also put excellent employees that are over 50 on PIP then they lay them off.!!!!! IBM is a horrible company! Stay away
