All segments are under performing and will continue through at least 2023 while we play catchup to T-Mobile's 5G coverage. The global transformation efforts to streamline shared services and RIFs will continue.
The overwhelming majority of Wireless business customers has negative EBITDA. I worked in the wireless business area for 10 years. Difficult to turn a profit providing $850 devices at no charge along with a $150 credit on a $37 monthly plan
Verizon Business does not equal wireline. Either you are new to the company or so old you have no idea what you're talking about. Also, business customers are spending way more many than standard consumers. Business customers CAN have primary 4G LTE / 5G. It's literally called Business Internet and there are separate Backup plans. Dude delete your whole account.
I looked at that link the guy posted and those numbers don’t add up at all. Pretty sure this guys just making stuff up
Business has an operating margin of around 8%. Down from around 11% in 2021.
Consumer has an operating margin of around 28% down from 31% in 2021.
Consumer is far more profitable this is publicly available no need to debate it.
Anyone still talking about wireline as an important independent line of revenue is deadwood. Wireline exists are a service to wireless + some revenue from legacy products. There are about 8 million broadband customers across Consumer and Business. There are about 142 million wireless customers across both.
It's not even close.

If wireline doesn't carry wireless then wireless will have to pay some other vendor to carry their traffic. Simple as that. So is it cheaper in the long term to do it ourselves or pay someone else. That is the question.
First commenter clearly doesn’t get it. While business has lines that are wireless, on biz accounts, most wireless lines are VCG.
Enterprise locations aren’t allowed to have their primary connection as 4G / LTE, only as a backup. So business growth and revenue isn’t “primarily” from wireless products.
There is only one time I’ve seen a very very remote site without any eligibility for in-footprint or OTT wireline connection allowed LTE as primary. (And they are constantly opening tickets)
Consumer is not profitable, which is why we carry you clown.
The Verizon Business Group contributes less than 25% of all revenue earned. VBG’s cash flow and EBITDA are half of what Consumer delivers. The Business Group does not carry Verizon.
Verizon lies with numbers. But what do you expect from a company that hired Hans Vestberg as CEO. Remember when Ericsson had to pay $1 Billion to settle US bribery charges due to shady practices while Hans led Ericsson?
What is worse, a company with no leadership, or a company with corrupt leadership?
How do you work here and still not have a rudimentary understanding of the company structure? Wireless and wireline haven't been a thing for like 5 years.
Lol you know Verizon Business includes wireless right? It’s where the growth is coming from…
