You better start clarifying future roles to UB employees and showing them what a “day in the life” looks like at at a USB branch, otherwise you’re about to have a ton of bankers who are woefully unprepared to be tellers, and a ton of tellers who are woefully unprepared to do banker stuff.
Soon we’re all going to be the same and have a generic CRC title, so the bank should start admitting as such and preparing us for it. We’re a few months from full conversion and many people seem to not realize how much things will be changing.

Re: The majority of Union Bank Management and Leaders are/were show horses, which will not place against US Bank Leadership, who seem much more experienced. These same people are in charge of our futures, however they cannot defensibly stand up their own experience, which is where the lens needs to be focused. Individual contributors are where the talent is.
Re: Please lay off the MUFG Leadership before the ship starts to sink. They fail in comparison to USBank and lack the skills necessary to move a company and culture forward. Start looking at their skill sets of lack thereof.
You two are completely incorrect here and know nothing about us. We were a much smaller bank but easily outproduced US Bank. Your company just lit $3-$4 billion on fire with some of their decisions by closing some divisions. Your company just spent $8 billion for a company that right now is worth half of that. A lot of talented people were let go that could work circles around you. The funny thing is I am actually going to enjoy my "vacation". I received a retention bonus and am now getting a 52-week severance along with a bonus for 2022 with a 14% increase from 2021 even with a slower year and with all of my accrued vacation time being paid out I will be receiving a nice lump sum payment in the near future. Adding this and the retention bonus I am receiving 2 years of pay for really now work. I'll go file for unemployment. and collect that for 6 months and still have 1.5+ years of income sitting in my bank while you are getting paid less money and actually having to log in every day and work. Enjoy your employment. I'll be in Dublin drinking some Guinness toasting you wishing you all the best at work. haha.
They don't care. Too many good years with US Bank. They might not close your branch today, but tomorrow doesn't look good. They don't value staff.

To the person who wrote this: "If US Bank was smart they would fire Union bank leadership. They are a disgrace. The politics to move forward is unethical and not on merit. Outside hires for positions proven by internal candidates? Favoritism over performance and proven track record. Zero accountability from RMs to Regional Presidents." This is the very same management philosophy as USBank so don't imagine things are going to change. USBank will putz around until the last minute and expect everyone to be proficient and produce immediately upon conversion. That's the way the bank roles. They will give you a little slack after the initial tornado, but they will expect you to take the initiative to learn what you need on your own time. If you don't cut the mustard, your reviews will reflect it and you'll languor in your current position until they eliminate it.
Sounds like your stuck in the past. Part of life is changing and learning new things. If you're not willing to learn how to perform in a new, evolved, or changed role, you won't advance anywhere, let alone a company going through a transformation
Isn’t CRV level 4 the equivalent of ABM? That’s what UBers have been promised.
ABMs are going to be gone. Those roles were previously eliminated at UDB. They can try to hang on as bankers or GTFO.
At UB only bankers and (good) managers deal with sales. Everyone else, ABM and below are solely operations. Tellers don’t have referral quotas. If US wants good sales people they are in for a surprise.

What's sad is Assistant Branch Managers at Union Bank don't like sales or anything to do with sales. They are operations managers. They will fail badly as bankers. Most avoid sales at all cost. They will be your top CRC4 bankers lmao!
Brick and mortar branches are dinosaurs.
