Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Hahahahaha! what did you expect?!

This is what they think of us! They know we’re suckling at the teet. Too brain washed to leave. Too cowardly to call their bluff.

Just wait until the recession really hits in the next few months. Companies will be restructuring (layoffs) so why should they give out anything when the bottom is going to drop out.

The buyback tells you all you need to know. Chevron is out of the ā€œreinvesting in itselfā€ phase, and into ā€œharvestā€. The future of exploration and growth will be at different companies, mostly smaller. We’ve just shored up the balance sheet for the short term…more MNA in our futures?

XoM production was up by 100,000BBL just from last qt, their revenue and profits were much stronger as well. I am not surprised if we see a large petrotech exit within the next 6 months for better opportunities, oil is projected to go higher for the next few years.
