Normandale are backing Springtown they are not happy either / looking for a union also...
8% pay raise. LOL Seagate has never given that even in the best of times. You are smoking something bro.
Guys, wise up. Springtown operators are just looking for a fare slice of the pie. An 8% pay increase would equate to about 2 million a year. That is only 0.65% of the Dividends paid out to shareholders. We have no voice to comfront management on these issues. Unite and join the Union
If you are lucky, a union will get you a raise that covers the cost of your dues. Then management will plan reductions in staff in the future that favor Normandale.
Union money gets used for political donations. That's why your government types are so supportive of it. Kick back. You really think your government individuals are doing this because they care about you. Hahahaha!
Ask who's causing the cost of living increase? Hint: It's the government. So if pay is totally out of line then people will and can have the freedom to go elsewhere. Right? So when the economy fluctuates head count should never be adjusted? Say again? What is this a business or a government welfare program?
I guess they still think Jimmy Hoffa runs the union.
What corruption would that be?
What kind of corruption?
Enjoy those union dues that fund corruption in your town.
Maybe if management would actually get together and talk about how to make seagate a better and a more welcoming place to work.Reward the employees with decent wages.Nobody is expecting a huge pay rise but people do expect a decent pay rise and to be treated decently and treated like human beings. We are not robots or dogs so don't treat us like that.
I support Springtown Operators all the way / I hope Esg & Process follow them... This has went on too long, sad it has taken 25+ years to happen... https://www.derryjournal.com/business/we-acknowledged-that-every-employee-has-the-right-to-join-a-union-seagate-meets-derry-council-4005691
