I’ve been with Cisco for 10 years and watched it go from one form of cut throat caniving to now woke socialism. Every check-in for the past 4 years has gotten deeper and deeper down the socialism ho-e and I think I can’t be more shocked and appalled and then they have another checkin and they out do themselves again. I used to think that Cisco’s wokeness was just a bunch of liberals because it’s based in Commiefornia. But when they started talking about their time in DAVOS and the WEF and all of the social justice (again) (especially instead of the LRs) it hit me like a ton of bricks… oh sh**, Cisco is part of “the plan”. They have completely sold out to the deep state.

Seeing this just makes me even more glad I left a bit ago. Doesn't look like anything has changed in 2 years (but actually gotten worse). All I can say is I am so sorry for all my wonderful colleagues that are enduring this. The #1 reason I left is that I felt that leadership was not at all focused on running the business. I have been much happier since and did not realize how much the wokeness was dragging on me mentally until after I walked out.

The leaders can continue to say and do whatever they like as long as customers continue to tolerate the (poor) quality of products and services.
Never met a bigger bunch of woke executives. Even more pathetic was the rah rah’s in the chat. Nobody cares about your cheese eating wine sipping time in Davos. And Fran - wake up and look at the real world. Yes there are tragedies and world problems, but wtf does any of that have to do with Cisco business last quarter or moving forward?
If you people keep sipping the Cisco Kool-Aid, that's on you. If you want to hang around and make easy money, I get it. I did it for several years. But if you think for a second that Cisco doesn't operate just like the government, you're fooling yourself.
Cisco tries to lull everyone to sleep with celebrity appearances and wokeness to make you think they care and keep you in line. But behind the scenes, they are doing any and everything to simply and solely line their pockets.
