Most are hoping to get laid... off.

Oh yes - they have some big conversion weekends this year so ALL hands on deck - he he. My guess is probably Nov/Dec next yr after the conversions, wouldn't want to pay ALL hands on deck a bonus in 2024 - so will be shedding
They are doing layoffs but very quietly. Most of the layoffs have been for overlapping positions between td and Schwab. Schwab will not do anything merger until they feel like they will complete the conversion without any issues. Once they feel comfortable the bloodbath will begin.
Doing quiet layoffs in the form of firing so they do not have to payout packages. Firing people with great experience and knowledge and bring in H1-B visa employees. CS has become so woke not even a laughing matter. Very sad to see this company that was all about family and making sure there is a work and life outside the office go away. If you do more than work 50 to 60 hours a week and love it you are out.....
Most I’ve spoken to hoping to get laid off, it is no longer a great place to work. No engagement or even the pretense of engagement.
