What should our effort be in 2023 after the low CIP?

Anyone know the Corp and BU ratings (ABU) for the CIP for 2023?

Find your local HR person and try to be more like them. HR is the A-Team in Chevron!!

Well, let me say it this way…. If we set 2.0 as a rating for expected “average effort” we should give in 2013, and the upper echelon of Chevron already set it at 1.4, doesn’t only seems fair to deliver 1.4 of 2.0 effort in 2023? Overshooting a corporate goal is just wasting your powder. Save that extra effort for another year, when they are paying fair price for it. They didn’t do this with our CIP bonus. I’m cautious about what they are willing to do with salary adjustments coming up soon.

If you're within 10 years of retirement, do just enough not to get laid off. Nod your head at every meeting and every now and then be visible in some volunteer or D&I effort. If you have more than 10 years of working career left, work on your resume so you can get out of the oil and gas industry.

@uel, I take it you are not one of the over-compensated for what they produce Chevron employees who constantly whine on the layoff's site, if you consider yourself a "go-getter".

When combined with D&I, CVX management is officially the worst. 2023 efforts are focused on One Person, me. Time to watch out only for myself. One Team is dead.

I think most of us go-getters are hoping to transition quickly out of oil and gas rather than just stand around whining.
