Pregnancy issues

Soooooo I have a question. If you are pregnant can you still be pointed for anything? Like if you are 5 minutes late to work you can still get pointed right?

Being late because you had a doctor appointment? Or just cause you’re pregnant and was late?

Yes, that’s a good representation of the way the policy should be applied.

No not all pregnancy related absences and tarsus’s are approved. You still have to go through channels with Sedgwick. It is your responsibility to get all the paperwork in order. Once everything is on file then it becomes a reasonable accommodation. If you are tardy everyday or even half the week, that isn’t a reasonable accommodation. A tardy here and there. Yes that is.

People need to quit using pregnancy as an excuse. My wife who is a team lead and was a department manager when she was pregnant worked all the way up until the day before we had our child. She was never late and only missed a handful of days the entire 9 months. Same with another lady I work with. Work smart. Know your limits.
