I am trying to refocus on looking for a new job, but I am very worried.

Sorry for you folks that got let go. There are better opportunities out there and chances are you are better than GF you deserve better. Keep your head up and good luck
I have intermittent FMLA and I called this morning at 6:45 to use an FMLA day. I work at FAB 9 My manager asked to call me back and I got a call at 7 informing me that I was laid off. March 17 is the last paycheck day and I will be getting an email to sign within 45 days to get the severance package. Benefits are through the end of March and he said something about at least four weeks of pay and I’m assuming that’s the actual severance package. We’ll be linked with recruiters and job counseling.
reality is .. after this .. there will be another , another , another till you yourself leave ... its a mental torture and stress
Yes, my manager said they were giving their team the all clear once they finished walking me out. Would be a weird lie to tell, so I buy it.
Package is decent.
Our whole team is somber like we are headed to the gallows. I've never seen the morale so bad here. Older guys says this is their 3rd and 4th layoff and it only gets harder as you wonder when your name is going to get chosen. I didn't sign up for this when i came to this company at the end of last year. All i wanted to do was work hard, have a life, and hopefully retire with a decent 401k. You are not suffering alone.
