Layoffs are likely coming but anyone who takes these clickbait business insider articles seriously is delusional
Rank does not means performance. Politics beats performance 10 times out of 10. 15 years and going strong, barely working, many promotions & raises, and now two jobs with WFH. Smarter, not harder. Have to learn how to milk.
