AppdDynamics($3 Billion) was a total cr-p acquisition. Cisco did not cash or had ROI on AppD. All the software written by AppD is total waste in today's cloud computing especially with GCP, AWS and Azure on top. Cisco is not using AppD software for any cloud then who is going to use ? The whole AppD is chopped off
PS in AppD gutted... now who will deliver on customer projects.

Because there are further rounds of LRs outside of the US. These will happen in January and February.

They haven't done Europe yet. We don't know until end of Jan.

Which teams or parts of AppD were impacted? And which parts will be impacted in the future?
There was word of quite a few Commercial CSMs were cut, along with a few of their leaders and a couple commercial SEs. In GES, seems like the damage was less— a second line leader on SE side and maybe a couple managers of CSMs. And some PS folks, too.
Any sales reps or RDs let go?

AppD was hit really hard with more to come over the next few weeks. Really don’t understand how we can be expected to grow with less than a skeleton crew. Makes me wonder whether this is by design? One step closer to just being a SKU on CCW that no one knows how to sell or deliver. Cisco is surely big enough to write off the investment.

Security was touched..... what lies. they said the focus was Security , AAS, AppD, software.

Is almost like a san Jose engineering wipe out.
