Fully vested date?

I started in 2021 after the vesting policy changed to a 3 year period and am confused about when I’m fully vested in company match.

Is it…

  • 3 years from start date,
  • 3 years from 401k contribution eligibility date, or
  • 3 years from match eligibility date?

Does anyone know?

36 months for base contribution. 1 year for matching

Another employee benefit taken away. It used to be a year and new quarter. Do the executives have to also wait 3 years?

@1wlf+1kboLNYr ‘Tis true. Someone on my team left before hitting 36 months tenure and when they went to move the 401k the match was reversed. They called HR and we’re told yep, not 36 month tenure - no match for you!

Wait there's a three year vest for the 401k match? Are you sure that isn't the RSRs?

Why anyone would come work here I really have no idea. They don’t let you keep your 401k match until you put in 36 months!

Most companies vest you as soon as you contribute. Sometimes by pay period, month or quarter. The nickel and diming list is starting to compete with the scandals list.
