Training your replacement to ensure your severance means that you are good enough to transfer knowledge to a future employee. So, where is the logic for a person, who is a good worker and has the skills, to be laid off?

The writing has been on the walls in Webster for years, especially on the walls in the many buildings that have been sold, Most of the parking lots don''t get plowed in the winter. But grass and weeds grow up through the pavement in the summer. The place is done. That's what happens when you put all your eggs in one basket. Listen to the music....it's either Taps or The Party's Over. Either way... it's done.
That’s why I left that sh-t ho-e years ago and it paid in dividends. U people have wasted your careers at that shithole.
The bottom line logic is Xerox employee is replaced by a cheaper outsourced worker who is not on Xerox head count payroll or benefits.. There is no consideration for the quality of work
outcome …Xerox on the cheap!
Demeaning!
Bro, where've ya been the last 3 years?
Billy the deep fryer guy. LMAO.
Funny one. 🤣
Billy, deep fryer guy, will do your job 1/2 as good for 3/4 your pay. Proceeds will go directly to the dividend. Will his total lack of experience and probable ineptitude negatively impact everyone else including the customer thus negating salary savings by -400%? Oh absolutely! But that doesn’t matter anymore… everything is about is about feeding the dividend monster.
Ummmm…pick up a newspaper?
Sure. I’m going to believe that garbage from the media. Newspapers are bird cage material and nothing more.
They print what they want you to believe. I wouldn’t trust them to mail a letter for me. No possible way.
I'm sorry that you're going through this right now. No, it isn't right. However, the job market is really hot right now. I'd recommend putting your resume out there. You'll find something better at a company that appreciates their employees. I recently left. Is my new company perfect? No, of course it isn't. But it pays significantly more, and they value the work I do for them. Be positive. You'll find something better!
Training them doesn’t even matter. More than likely they will not retain the information or due to high turnover in HCL that person will be gone anyway.
It’s called making tough decisions with a looming recession hanging over the world. As simple as that. It’s happening in almost every technology company around the US. Start reading the news or pick up a newspaper once in a while instead of using this as your go to source.
Forget training replacements, tell them NFW. Or train them to fail.
Don't let them win
Money...USA 26 dollars per hour...India 3 dollars per hour....enough said....
Like our new leader said. CareAR...30 days of experience or 30 years...same quality product
No one ever said xerox had any common sense. Crash and Burn management here.
