What happens if my manager moves out of Intel, who will I be working under? Joined recently so not aware how things work.

If your department was on shaky ground you could all get waxed. If not, your manager will be replaced and everything will get back to normal. Anticipate that a DEI or URM will get the promotion, meritocracy left Intel around 2005.
