Not sure how anyone else's location is, but South Jersey is ridiculous.. Considering people are packing up for our location renovations, aimlessly walking around because everyone's work is DONE.. instead of saying "Hey everyone, you can all leave an hour hourly, even 30 min to get home etc.. But nooooo let's have you all sit here, doing nothing while you just keep getting aggravated because hey HR has been gone but we need you ALL to stay and collaborate... SMDH

We lucky to stay in office until full day is over today. Now we work hard and make big profits for 2026.
God forbid HR should need to make a manual adjustment for hourly employees’ time cards.
At my previous employer, we would be let out on Xmas & New Year’s Eve by 1:00 pm. The HR lady would just adjust people’s clock out time and record it as site closure time, but we still got paid for the last 4 hours. Granted, it was a small company, but still, with today’s payroll technology, there’s no excuse that it’s too much administrative burden.
I’m so glad that I’m in a salaried position now and don’t have to stay glued to my chair until the ADP website clock shows 5:00.
