Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Slow January

This January is slowest I’ve ever seen Belks. Yes, we are always slow this time of year— but hours with no customers at all is not normal.
Online fulfillment also a trickle of what it usually is.

@ac typically we don’t hire this time of year, we attempt to hold on to seasonal that worked out well. No change so far on staffing. Hours are about 60 HRS less per week than last.
