At the beginning of the new year (2023), Night 2 and Day 2 production shifts at Beaverton will be shutting down VaporMax, VisiZoom and Injection. Those personnel will be integrated into other departments. Hmmmmm I smell a rat.

Yes. You'll be integrated into other departments. In the history of IHM/Air:MI there has been one round of layoffs that affected the FTEs on the floor. Turnover is high, so as people leave (voluntarily or otherwise) they just don't replace them until demand picks up. That's how it's pretty much always been here. As long as you keep showing up and meeting the requirements of your job, you're not really in danger of losing it. That's a rarity in the manufacturing industry.
Integrated into other departments? HA! Headcount will be cut.
This isn’t anything more than balancing inventory already made with demand. Yes demand is soft. But if you listen to earnings we had a lot of inventory to move.
