Somebody who worked with the government was required to get it so everyone in Citi was mandated to get it just in case they worked with someone from the government. Like the receptionist who worked on the second floor of a main Citi office building for marketing or the janitor who worked night shift or the data center tech guy enclosed in the data center. Citi is really bad at the one size fits all solution.

As soon as they end the mandate, then they have to start dealing with lawsuits of the people who were fired for not getting it, Don't look for it to go away anytime soon. They will continue to lose out on good talent for their stupid decisions.
Not so much Karen. If you are one of the folks who live in Texas, its against the law to end someone’s employment who refuse to get the COVID vaccine and to let Citi control how you manage your health.
Of course in true Citi fashion, they will find a reason out of retaliation to get rid of you afterwards.

You realize you are not required to work at Citi, right? They can’t mandate your health decisions, they can only decide the rules for working at Citi. If you don’t like the rules, you are totally free to work somewhere else.
And Citi should reserve the right to mandate how you handle your health. GO CITI!!!!
