@ej Those got 4 weeks last time. The younger pups tend to move on after a few years. They do that to get a bump in pay, which they won't get at O. The objective of a mass layoff is to get rid of career employees who won't leave on their own.
@b2 There will be a lot under a year that get $0
@b2 you get 4 weeks for first of year of service + 1 week per year after.
Max 26 weeks regardless your years of service. It means if you worked 22 yrs or 30 yrs, you will get severance for 26 weeks only.
I hope it helps
@ar It depends. If they are planning on laying off mostly newbs then the average payout won't be very big, maybe $10-15K? But long termers can get up to half a years pay. which would affect the average payout.
Say the average severance is $20K, that would be 10,000 shown the door. A big number, but hardly the 30-45K we see bandied about in this forum.
@an OP, did you forget to take your meds..again?
Your a$$ fixation is funny
@a5 The 10q says the 200M is mostly for severance costs. That’s a lot of severance.
Prepare your butt cheeks!
@a4 it's like one of #TrustMeBro source...
The only truth in all of this is the restructuring expenses increase presented in the last earnings call.
Yes next week, buckle up
