@ca Layoffs are being justified as necessary cost reductions, yet at the same time we see continued high bonus allocations and an expansion of senior leadership roles, often filled through external networks.
This creates a perception that cost discipline is not applied consistently across the organization, particularly when it comes to former colleagues brought in from previous organizations.

@bt I saw my same role advertised for the India HQ. The amount of skills they were asking for was shocking. Even more shocking knowing that the people from India I had worked with had 0.0001% of that

Much of the c-suite compensation is paid via bonus. Follow incentives.
