These are global numbers. 60% of employees re outside the US. OP is asking specifically about the US….

So reduction of 8,000 or -4% by when? I guess they aren’t hitting their attrition and retirement targets.
58000 -> 50000 with thousands headcount increase in India. Do the math yourself.
