Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Severance is the only thing keeping me here

I don't want to miss the severance, and also I didn't get any better offers that might make me change my mind. That's the only reason I'm still here. If I were the leadership, I would be concerned about how many employees are here only for the reason that they are waiting for severance pay...

26 weeks max, and that against an uncertain or determined amount of time to allow more abusive behavior? No thanks

The severance isn’t worth it, can’t believe people let that drive any decision! Go out and find a new job and take control back of your life! Besides, you lose health insurance and cobra is thru the roof! Take back your life!

No one knows what this call is about our dm told a few reps that more changes was coming and that another call like everyone has finally gone through was coming in January so it's wait and see

Same here. I am in Wave 3, so not until April. Seriously been thinking about whether waiting to see if I get the severance is worth being tortured until then. The car is honestly the biggest thing keeping me right now - it certainly is the pleasant management, the timely and accurate logistics, or the realistic objectives.

It's called a hostile work environment I'm letting my dm gives me all the ammo I need and that d-mb a-s doesn't even know it. More you pi-s him off the more he talks

Yeah, instead of being worried about it, the executives spend all their time trying to figure out how to falsely fire, or drive people out so they don't have to pay it.

Very, VERY, disgusting executives in this company.

What’s a polite word…. Naive? There’s so much disassociation between management and us. I hear that about everyone though…
I know at least 4 out of the 10 reps in this region want to collect the severance and move on. Myself included. There’s just no future anymore.
I found out through rumors one of the reps found another job. I’m happy for him, but at the same time it’s going to hurt my chances at getting let go. Kind of selfish I know.
I’d like to work for a company that puts the people first and not profits.
