Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Will they keep making RTO conditions harder and harder to meet?

Leadership is clearly on an attrition drive, and making people quit on their own has been a main goal of RTO from the very beginning.

@ec I got a good laugh while reading that person comment multiple times in a row as if they are different people. It's really bizarre behavior.

Exactly! We are not d-mb. Ways to get around. Thats why they need to RTO.

@ec don't worry, I'm no longer there, but if you had two laptops, you could join meetings in both of them, sometimes a meeting between laptops, and it would defeat the tracking software as it appeared you were in meetings constantly, which was possible with my role.

seems to be a thread entirely of the websites resident agitator posting.

This is how you know someone doesnt work for state farm, saying they are enjoying the easy life working from home.

Everyone who works for this company understand the labtops are choked with spyware, they know how often you move your mouse, what you do, work completed. There are no roles where you check email and run laps all day at the park, they got rid of those jobs in the 90s.

Just in case someone is new to this site and doesnt understand this, its just one person who doesnt work at this company farming downvotes across the board, and this thread is nearly 100% that guy.

Im not sure the obsession they have with pretending working from home isnt working, but thats is your first red flag this person doesnt work for our company, despite clogging nearly every thread with BS that just gets mass downvoted.

Shame this site cant remove the bad faith poster. Its really makes having a decent convo hard, which maybe thats the goal.

@dm So how are you working if you are running around and documenting what your co workers are or are not doing?

RTO was fun, got to admit that. I had an Internet hotspot and could take my laptop to the track, run a lap, check emails, then run another lap.

Those days appear to be over.

RTO. What a great idea! Im tired of seeing everyone in the normal world working hard while others are out shopping, in restaurants, mowing their lawns, etc. Everything but make customer contacts.
