Word up is the CHNG sales teams will be significantly impacted this week. Not sure who or which teams nor who is next since they already creamed Marketing...with more to come for that team. They're being loyal to current Optum peeps and the false narrative of them welcoming CHNG team member is total BS!

Layoffs started today... notices began and end of employment Feb 9th. No details yet on severance. Our team in particular had one very high level meeting with Optum counterparts.. no consideration of performance, etc... just we don't need your function/role, so you're out.

I am sure everyone remembers the following quote from the President of UH Group and CEO of Optum at the time; “We’re thrilled to welcome Change Healthcare’s highly skilled team to create a better future for health care.”

Apparently a lot of former CHC employees believed this load of bull.

When the corporate talking point is about skilled employees or the employees are what make the company great, look out. The hand placed on your back is not patting you for a job well done but pushing you towards the exit.

New org charts coming. All decided this week by Optum. Implementation begins next week, and by "implementation," I mean letting go of large groups of the workforce for which Optum already has resources, making those in CHC redundant. No mind was paid to whether or not this or that employee was a performer or how long their tenure. Everyone was reduced to a number "greater than" that which they are willing to pay.
