Thread regarding Medical Solutions layoffs

Not at all what Larry and Kathy wanted for Aureus. They sold at the right time for sure but they picked the company they thought would take care of the legacy and treat their employees right. MSG is a disappointment to everyone who believed.

@15e they basically hold you hostage to get a severance pay and make you train your replacement
Despicable!
So sad. Not what Larry and Cathy wanted for Aureus

@12e Ooorrr your manger is towing the company line and trying to play off the layoffs as not really “layoffs” because people were given their NOTICES. Not laid off now, but their last days are 7/31.

Have to have time to train their offshore replacements, you know. Absolute garbage company.

@12e as stated by someone else yes there were layoffs in the credentialing dept last week. Onshore verifications team was impacted and will be all offshore by end of summer. Other credentialing teams mentioned were also impacted. Either your manager is hiding the info or oblivious.

@12e There was definitely a layoff. At least four managers were a part of it in the credentialing department, and some background, licensing, and QA specialists as well. We get to hang around and help support the transition for the next couple of months, but we were all given a final date. The layoff was discussed openly in our dept townhall so it’s not a big secret. I’m not sure how your manager isn’t aware.

@x4 I ask my recruitment boss about layoffs and he said there was no layoffs it was brought to them yesterday and it was all lies. Are we recruiters being fed more lies from leadership?

@sc wow I did not know this what a punch in the gut! How does management sleep at night or look at employees faces on zoom, knowing they are low bawling US workers as they are US as well. Ever see how managements faces light up when offshore worker speaks it’s like God speaking they light up. It’s kind of funny. I heard they gave them a huge Christmas party offshore with prizes also. Not so broke are they. I believe nothing management says anymore. Town halls are a joke also. Stop wasting people’s time.

@j7 oh but let's not forget the fact that the offshore staff get raffle drawings for prizes (just had one this week) while onshore are losing livelihoods and not getting recognized or rewarded for what they do. 🙄 its honestly such a slap to the face how little onshore gets while offshore gets treated like kings and queens.

I don’t know why they think it’s a great idea to keep offshoring. When I was at MSG it was clear the quality went down with the offshore and NOW that I’m with a competitor and dealing with MSG account daily, the quality is for sure down. It’s horrible working with them! They are the laughing stock.

I get rewarding top performers but in these times for the company it goes beyond tone deaf to send a large group to Aruba. It’s blatantly disrespectful to every employee who is losing their job to offshore and has to figure out how to feed their family, all while a whole bunch of job survivors get to live it up on the beach slurping tropical co-ktails. It’s beyond comprehension. Zero consideration for your fellow “teammates” who have worked their tails off for MSG and are scared. The company whose mission is care could honestly care less.

Billing, billing operations, payroll and QA, and Collections, US based jobs are next to go. Email just went out. Openings for all offshore! Writing is on the wall. Horrible…..

Between AI, robots, and jobs going overseas America is going to be a poverty ridden country. Wake up America! Greed at its best.

@b1 The credentialing dept. Some managers, licensing, background, and possibly QA team members were impacted. More is being moved to the PH offshore team with the overall goal that all production will eventually be offshore and only leadership will stay onshore.
