Any word on what the retirement packages will be?
Dominion Energy: 15,200 employees, market cap of $59 billion
NextEra Energy: 16,000 employees, market cap of $185 billion
Not looking good.
Half is being generous, I would expect a lot more than that.
No layoffs for 24 months and then all bets are off. Dominion is 4 times smaller than NextEra but has the same number of employees. The math says that Dominion has to lose at least half it’s employees to become as efficient as NextEra.
